What ISO 9001:2015 is?

We know a lot about ISO. ISO stands with a huge functionality. here we'll discuss about practical implementation of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS). 

What is ISO 9001:2015?

ISO stands for International Organization of Standardization. this organization basically working to set a common standard world wide and ISO 9001:2015 is sated standard for quality management system where 9001 is standard code and 2015 is the last updated time/ year.

A quality management system (QMS) is collection of business processes focused on consistently meeting customer requirements and enhancing their satisfaction. Its aligned organizational goals with customer satisfaction. because its easy to achieve organizational goal for a short time but without customer satisfaction its really impossible to sustain.

Their is some miss concept among the people about QMS,

Miss concept	Actual thing
QMS is maintaining some document.	Document control procedure is a small part of QMS
Just recruit one person for this superposes and he will implement and maintain everything.	One person can be recruit to followup the implementation but this should be implemented by the top authority of an organization.
QMS is not possible to maintain in practical field because its easy to tell but difficult to maintain.	QMS is very practical, easy to implement and result oriented system.
Lot of things are necessary to maintain QMS.	Just need a positive mind setup among all the people of an organization and respect to the system.
QMS is applicable for big group or organization only.	QMS is applicable for all types of organization who wants to ensure profit along with customer satisfaction and sustainability.
QMS is tools of quality department and they will maintain it, others are not responsible for this system.	This is a tools for top management or at least all department head.
QMS ensure product quality.	QMS ensure the quality of management system,  human resources, suppliers, external facility provider, production process as well as product.

The adoption of a quality management system is a strategic decision for an organization that can help to improve its overall performance and provide a sound basis for sustainable development initiatives.
